With the massive Saguaro cactus towering as high as 50 feet in the air, Saguaro National Park has some of the most breathtaking desert scenery and wildlife in the world. Saguaros is the second pedal in our new Junior Ranger Series. It's big brother from the Americana Series is a Germanium-powered, NOS part filled fuzzy beast, with excellent mid-range and walls of texture. This iteration of it is silicon and in a smaller package. No frills design and an absolutely insane $119 price point. This fuzz will inspire you to riff heaven and won't be turned off often. It's aggressive, full of textures, not too bright, and can get huge at certain settings.

  • Pedalboard friendly 1590bbs sized enclosure
  • True bypass
  • Custom "junior park ranger" style pin badge
  • Cloth bag
  • Stickers

Controls

First row of knobs: Volume, Tone, Fuzz
  • Volume controls the master volume of the entire circuit. It gets very loud.
  • Tone controls the amount of high end content via a well-tuned low-pass filter. We wire it "backwards" because I think things should get woofier as you turn it up and thinner as you turn it down
  • Fuzz controls the overall fuzziness
Second row of knobs: Gain, Depth
  • Gain controls the gain level of the first gain-stage in the circuit. This part of the circuit was reworked to provide a blistering 30+db of clean, flat gain to allow you to sculpt the behavior of the fuzz. There are three other gain stages, so even turned down, you will get fuzzy saturation (unlike Acadia). The unique feature for this circuit is you can really blow the main fuzz circuit out and get some interesting tones
  • Depth controls the frequency being fed into the first gain-stage. CW is beefy, CCW is thin and treble-y

Power

It is critical that you use a high quality, isolated and filtered power supplies with The Americana Series. Every modern measure was taken to ensure quiet, recording-worthy noise suppression, but low-quality power and power supplies can inject unwanted noise in these effects. Even though we've designed them to play nicely on a daisy chain, we don't recommend it.
